Why THCa?

THCa, a cannabinoid present in the cannabis plant, serves as the forerunner to THC, a widely recognized psychoactive substance known for producing the "high" experience in marijuana consumption.

From a scientific perspective, THCa is not inherently psychoactive. Yet, when THCa is subjected to smoking or heating, it transforms into THC through a process known as decarboxylation.

When our THCa products are heated, they become highly psychoactive. As a result, you can anticipate an experience akin to what you'd find with premium-grade flower from a neighborhood dispensary.

The Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, often referred to as the Farm Bill, enabled the cultivation of hemp and removed hemp and hemp seeds from the DEA's Controlled Substances list. As a result, THCa is legal under federal law.

In line with this, all ItemIX products are in compliance with the Farm Bill, which sets the legal limit at "no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis.
